Neal Leach was born on November 25, 1925, in rural Mayes County, Oklahoma, to Jennie Buckskin. He departed this life on Friday, July 10, 2010, in Salina Oklahoma, at the age of 84 years, 7 months and 14 days.

Neal grew up in Mayes County, where he attended Big Brewer School and worked as a farm laborer for most of his life.

Neal was of the Baptist faith and attended Little Rock Baptist Church. He was always active and loved to just go. Neal enjoyed pitching horse shoes, dominos, squirrel hunting, flea markets and the sales barn. He loved spending time with his friends and family.

Neal is survived by: 4 cousins: Jimson Bluebird of Peggs, Oklahoma, Johnny Bluebird of Kenwood, Oklahoma, Billy Bluebird & wife Betty of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, and Judy Abbs and husband Eric of Kenwood, Oklahoma; numerous other relatives and a host of friends. Neal was preceded in death by: his mother Jennie Buckskin; his grandfather: James Buckskin; brother: Richard Leach; sister: Prudy Leach; and Aunt: Emma Bluebird.

Graveside services were held 10:00 A.M., Tuesday July 13 2010, at Euwasha Cemetery in Kenwood, Oklahoma with Bro. Stanley Henson officiating. Services were entrusted to the Locust Grove Funeral Home.
