Plainview Cemetery
Custer County, Oklahoma

Survey done by Lori Atkinson-McNeil & Hallie J. Davis

Directions: Take I-40 to the Hydro-Carnegie exit #88. Take service road (old 66) aprox. 4 miles west. Turn left (south) right before old overhead bridge. Go 5 miles. Cemetery is at top of hill near a radio tower and actually sits in someone's front yard. It is on the East side of the road. This is a very small cemetery and graves should be easy to find. However, there is a very large tree on the property with a few graves under the tree.
There are also several stones and blank markers indicating where other people may be buried.
Someone has also buried several animals on the grounds.
To request a photo of a tombstone in this cemetery, contact Lori.
If you have family buried in the Plainview Cemetery or have obits (with newspapers permission or an obit that you can write) or tombstone photos or individual portraits or can write a short bio or have a history of the cemetery and would like to add your information to this website, contact the area coordinator for more information.
