Funeral services for Walter Ross Bristow, 79, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday December 23, 2005, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel.
Walter Ross Bristow was born January 17, 1926, in Ada, Oklahoma. He died Tuesday, December 20, 2005, in Chickasha.
Interment will be in the Bradley Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Walter Ross Bristow, 79, of Chickasha, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 23, 2005, in the Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel, with Mike Bates officiating.
Walter Ross Bristow was born January 17, 1926, in Ada, Oklahoma, the son of Azoph Giles Bristow and Callie Alice (Strow) Bristow. He died Tuesday, December 20, 2005, at his home in Chickasha.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and the outdoors, but his happiest times were those he spent with his family. He was a loving dad, grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend. He was a member of the Cement Assembly of God Church. He loved attending church and always looked forward to spending time with his church family.
He was preceded in death by both parents; two wives: Daisy Doloris (Wilcox) Bristow and Betty Jean (McClintock) Bristow; one son, Jessie Charles Bristow; two brothers: Boonie Bristow and Buddy Bristow; three sisters: Perk Stein, Emma Campbell, and Wilma Kennedy.
He is survived by six sons and daughters-in-law: Jimmy and Linda Bristow, and Ronald Bristow, Donald Bristow, all of Amarillo, Texas; Tommy and Kelly Bristow, of Wilburton, Oklahoma; Kevin and Pauls Bristow and Myron and Tonya Loman, all of Chickasha; three daughters and sons-in-law: Cheryl and David Turner and Gail and Don Evans, all of Chickasha; and Angie and Tommy Bunch, of Minco; two brothers and sister-in-law: Jim and Nina Bristow, of Booneville, Arkansas; and Andrew Bristow, of Haleyville, Oklahoma; one sister and brother-in-law: Francis and Bill Wingo, of McAlester, Oklahoma; fifteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Interment will be in the Bradley Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
