Elmer Lee Flanagan

Chapel services will be held Wednesday, May 12, at 1:30 p.m., at Greenlawn Southwest Mortuary, 2739 Panama Lane, for Elmer Lee Flanagan of Bakersfield, California who passed away at his home on May 5, 2005.
He was born in Depew, Oklahoma and migrated to California at the age of 15. Elmer was very proud of being a World War II Army Veteran and he was a dedicated employee of ARCO, retiring after 38 years of service.
Elmer is survived by his loving wife, Eleanor and 3 daughters, Twyla Jamerson, Carol Finch and Beulah Johnson and husband, Daryl Johnson. He is also survived by sisters, Pearl Brown, Joyce Burgess and husband Olen Burgess, Thelma Dean Rowland; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grand-children.
Elmer was preceded in death by his only son, David, and his brother, Bill Flanagan.
Elmer is remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. Dad, we will miss you so much and especially all of your funny stories and sayings. Love, Your Girls
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Optimal Hospice Foundation.
Visitation 5:00-9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2005.
