Carolyn (Renné) Brewer
March 4, 1937 ~ August 14, 2018

Carolyn Brewer left this life and joined her Savior in Muskogee, Oklahoma on August 14, 2018 at the age of 81. She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on March 4th, 1937 to Walter Leon and Irene Estelle (Hutchinson) Renné. Carolyn married Russell H. Brewer on March 29, 1963. Russell preceded her in death on August 28, 2009.

Carolyn and her husband Russell were owners and operators of the Western Auto and Texoma True Value retail store in Madill, Oklahoma from 1973 to 2000. Carolyn was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church in Durant, Oklahoma. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, involvement with her church, going to the movies, reading, attending craft shows with her friends, and any time she spent with her dear family.

Mrs. Brewer is survived by her son Lynn Brewer and his wife Jamie Brewer of Houston, Texas; son Michael Brewer of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and his fiancée April Duckworth of Tulsa, Oklahoma; sister Nina Estes of San Jose, California.

Mrs. Brewer was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son David Brewer, and brothers Paul and Bruce Renné.

A family hour will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday August 16th at Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma. A celebration of her life be held at 11:00 AM on Friday August 17th at the Fairview Baptist Church in Durant, Oklahoma, with Bro. Bill Ledbetter officiating. A committal service will follow at the Bristow City Cemetery in Bristow, Oklahoma.
