Terry Lee Webb

Death date: January 7, 2014

Terry Lee Webb was born January 30, 1947 at Fort Sill, Oklahoma to Angie [Landers] and Clarence W. Webb. He died at his home with family at his side on January 7, 2014 in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 66.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Chapel of Peace Mausoleum officiated by Pastor Walter Wilson.

Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Service.

He traveled to various places around the world with his family while his dad was serving in the Army. When he was ten his father was transferred to Fort Sill. He attended the local schools until he joined the army, serving for over six years. He served one tour of combat duty in Vietnam where he earned many honors and awards. His awards include: Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Expert M16, Marksman M14 and Two Overseas Bars.

After his discharge from the Army he went to work for Brown and Root helping to construct the Good Year plant. After the completion of the building he went to work for Good Year for twenty-six years until he was forced to retire due to his health.

He loved baseball and the Cleveland Indians. He enjoyed watching both OU and OSU football games and he also collected classic movies, especially horror movies.

He was a member of Bible Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by both parents, Clarence and Angie Webb; sister Donna Slagle.

He is survived by his son, Mark Webb, of Lawton, OK; daughter, Roxanne Webb, of Lawton, OK; brother, Timmy Landers, of Lawton, OK; sister, Patsy Wood and her husband Thomas, of Marlow, OK; two nephews; Mike Pickens and his wife Michelle, of Lancaster, PA, Thomas Wood Jr, of Marlow, OK; two nieces; Terri Vernon and her husband Raymond, of Lawton, OK, Lori Pieck, of Lawton, OK. He also has many loving family members and extended family members.

3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Service 6210 NW Cache Road Lawton Oklahoma 73505

11:00 am on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Gardens 8900 NW Cache Road Lawton Oklahoma 73505
