James F. Irving Jr.
James F. Irving Jr., 53, of Amarillo, died Sunday, July 21, 2002.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Memory Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Grover L. Neal of St. John Baptist Church officiating. Military rites will be by DAV Chapter No. 26. Viewing will be from 8 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Thursday at Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Martin Road Chapel, 1505 Martin Road.
Mr. Irving had lived in Amarillo most of his life. He was a former custodian at Craig Methodist Retirement Center
He graduated from Amarillo High School and Howard County College, where he was a track star. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his stepmother, Maybelle Mosley of Lawton, Okla.; two sisters, Wanda Williams of Amarillo and Betty Irving of Arlington; two brothers, John Irving of Amarillo and Robert Irving of Denver; two daughters, Dana Irving of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Crystal London of Arlington; and three grandchildren.
The family will be at 921 Evergreen St.
