Eva H. [Highland] Mays

Eva Mays, a resident of Lawton, was born December 21, 1919 in Tulsa, OK to Eula Mae [Pointer] and George Highland. She passed away February 16, 2004 at Lawton, OK at the age of 84 years, 1 month and 25 days

She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by: both parents; her first husband, James Odis Hardcastle in 1993; her second husband, Jack B. Mays in 2002; a son-in-law, Michael R. Quisenberry; 1 brother; and 1 sister.

Mrs. Mays is survived by: her 2 sons, James Odis Hardcastle Jr., Nevada and Joe Earl Mays, Tulsa, OK; 2 daughters, Karen Fisher and husband, Carroll, Tulsa, OK and Colleen Quisenberry, Lawton, OK; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service was held Wednesday, February 18, 2004 at 2 p.m. at Highland Cemetery officiated by Chaplain Wayne Morris.

Burial was at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Service, [580] 536-0211.
