SPC. Dennis Pratt

SPC. Dennis Pratt was born January 7, 1975 in Waterbury, Connecticut to Jim and Lori Pratt.

He died serving his country in Afghanistan on July 20, 2009.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 31, 2009 at Frontier Chapel, Fort Sill, Oklahoma with Chaplain (Capt.) Namen Bouma, officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Whinery-Huddleston.

Dennis was raised and graduated high school in Southington, Connecticut. After graduation, he moved to Arizona, Duncan, Oklahoma and then Texas where he joined the United States Army.

married Michelle Bryant on May 9, 2008 in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Dennis did his basic training at Fort Sill and was then stationed at Fort Drum, New York. He was deployed to Afghanistan on January 6, 2009.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lori.

He is survived by his wife Michelle; 3 children, Collin Kessler, Gabrielle Pratt and Caden Bryant all of the home; parents Jim and Sinammon Pratt; mother and father-in-law Fred and Margaret Bryant; 2 brothers Jim Pratt and wife Staci and their children Miranda, D.J. and Morgan and Kyle Hansan and wife Nicole and their daughter CaLista; one step sister Leanna Pratt; and a host of other relatives and friends.
