Cherie Darlene [Thomas] Davie

Cherie Darlene Davie was born on August 7, 1951 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky to Aaron and Mary Elizabeth Thomas. She died on November 23, 2012 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 61.

Darlene was raised and attended school in Hopkinsville. Shortly after graduation, she married her high school sweetheart, Ronald W. Davie and began her life as an army wife. Darlene and Ron lived most of the next 41 years in Europe and Kentucky before settling in Lawton where Ron retired in 2000.

When not devoting her time to being a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she was actively involved in a number of Masonic ladies organizations where she held numerous positions and was currently Loyal Lady Rule in the Adah Assembly #133.

Darlene was also active in her church where she served in as an officer in several auxiliary groups.

She was a very special individual who had a gift of being able to bring joy, happiness, laughter and encouragement to everyone around her, a trait she exhibited throughout her life.
