Ama A. "Sally" [Hullett] Conerly

Ama A. "Sally" Conerly was born July 30, 1923 in Anadarko, Oklahoma to Iris [Hutcheson] and Charles Hullett. She passed away April 2, 2006 at Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 82 years, 8 months and 2 days.

Sally grew up Chickasha where she attended school.

She was married to Max Conerly at Chickasha, Oklahoma on August 4, 1941. Max was a Major in the United States Army and they lived in Ft. Sill, Hattiesburg, Misssissippi, Monroe, North Carolina, Green Cove Springs, Florida, Muskogee, Oklahoma and El Paso, Texas before returning to Lawton, Oklahoma in 1957 to make their home.

Sally became a hairdresser in El Paso and continued to work in Lawton for a number years and later managed Alladin Beauty College.

She returned to school at the age of 50 and attended Cameron University. Sally received her real estate license in 1978 and her brokers license in 1980. Sally worked for Parks Jones and Campell Real Estate for several years.

She was an active member of the Northwest Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Survived by her Husband, Max, of the home; 1 Daughter, Connie Pollner and husband, Jim, of Big Canoe, GA; 2 Grandchildren, Jacqui Pollner Derrico of Sterling, OK, Jeff Pollner of New Hampshire; 6 Great Grandchildren, Christie Pollner, Laurie Anne and David Derrico, Joshua, Jonathan and Elizabeth Pollner and a host of other relatives and friends.
