James Kenneth "Ken" Cline

James Kenneth "Ken" Cline was born on February 2, 1956 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Cloise and Jean [Clayborn] Cline. He died on November 10, 2012 in Lawton at the age of 56.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 on Friday, November 16, 2012 at God's Family Community Church with Dr. Danny Martin, officiating. Interment with military honors will be at 2:00 PM, Ft Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, OK. Viewing is scheduled for Thursday evening at Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 PM.

Ken was raised in Lawton where he attended Central Junior High and Lawton High School.

He enlisted in the Navy his senior year in high school and returned to OK after his Honorable Discharge to work as a service technician in Oklahoma City. Ken was forced to retire in 1990 due to health issues and returned to Lawton where he enjoyed talking on his CB radio, playing the guitar in church and spending time on his computer.

He was licensed into the ministry at God's Family Community Church where he played the guitar on Sundays as a member of the Praise and Worship Team.

Ken was preceded in death by his father, and his uncle, Jim Clayborn.

Survivors include his mother Jean of the home; a brother, Keith Cline of New Mexico; his aunt, Bonnie Clayborn of Lawton; and several nieces and cousins.

6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Service 6210 NW Cache Road Lawton Oklahoma 73505

Service:
12:30 pm on Friday, November 16, 2012 at God's Family Community Baptist Church 4814 NW Floyd Lawton Ok 73505
