Frances Marie Pate

March 29, 1940 ~ April 6, 2019

Frances was born March 29, 1940 in Lamar County, Texas to Jess and Eliza Ann Stanley. She graduated from East Lamar High school in Pattonville, Texas. Frances married Andrew Pate on April 4, 1959 in Hugo, Oklahoma. She retired from Comanche County Food Stamp office. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 45 years. She was a member of Elgin chapter #255, where she served as secretary for many years, and Lawton chapter #82. Frances was avid bowler in her youth, she loved working sudoku puzzles and crafting with plastic canvas.
Frances Marie Pate passed away April 6, 2019 in Lawton, Oklahoma.
Frances is survived by her husband, Andrew Pate of Fletcher, Ok; her daughter, Liese and Darrel Lambert of Elgin, OK; her grandchildren, Jessica and Dusty McClung of Sterling, Ok and Jacob Lambert of Sterling, Ok; her step grandson, Aaron Lambert of Lawton, OK; her sister Donna Lynn Hoover of Paris, Texas and multiple nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Eliza Ann Stanley; and her sisters, Ruby Allen, Bobbie Dewoody, Mamie Wright, Dorothy Wright, Helen Wright and Betty Hayes.
Interment will follow at Fort Sill National Cemetery.
