John Michael Duck

November 20, 1969 - August 17, 2013

John Michael Duck, 43, passed away August 17, 2013.
John was born in Midwest City, OK to Stephen and Vicki Duck on November 20, 1969. He was raised in Guthrie, OK where he also graduated from high school in 1988.
He served in the United States Navy from 1989-1993; worked in the freight business for over 25 years; and recently started working as a driver with the OKC VA Medical Center where he felt privileged to work with his fellow veterans.
He is the proud father of Seth Duck of Newalla and Nathyn, Justyn, and Austyn Bayliffe-Duck of Wasilla, Alaska.
John is survived by his parents; his sons; his siblings, Stephanie (Duck) and spouse Jason Crawford of Choctaw, Denise Duck of Del City, and Brandon Duck and spouse Katie (Hamilton) of Guthrie; grandmothers, Helen Manovsky of Del City and Nancy Riggle of Konawa; nephews: Logan, Denver, Nathan, Andrew, and Brise; nieces: Laken, Rylan, and Lylah; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation for John will be 12 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday August 22, 2013 at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 10:00 AM Friday August 23 at the Ft Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, OK.
