Earl L. Alexander

July 06, 1930 - May 12, 2018

Funeral services for Earl Alexander, 87, Lawton will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at First Baptist West in Lawton. Interment will follow at Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin under the direction of Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Service.
Earl was born to Gerald and Mabel Alexander July 6, 1930 in Amorita, Oklahoma. Earl graduated high school in Friendship, Oklahoma in 1948. He joined the National Guard in 1950 with the 45th National Guard 245th Tank Battalion Co A, during the Korean war. Earl was a charter member of First Baptist West and a Deacon. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather. He will be missed by his family and many friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Mabel Alexander; sister, Barbara Vories; brothers, Harold and Larry Alexander; his father and mother-in-law, Roy and Ruby Graves; sisters-in-law, Arlene Alexander and Rose Graves; brother-in-law, Raymond Vories and a special friend, Bob Coy. Earl is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Barbara; daughter, Charlotte Atchley and husband Mark; daughter, Carla Romo and Dale Wood; grandchildren, Heather Holland-Anderson, Amber Conner, Matthew Atchley, Adam Holland and Shari Price and their spouses; ten great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter and one great-great bonus grandson.
In lieu of flowers, make contributions to the First Baptist West Building Fund.
