Edna Evelene (Batchelor) McCollum, age 85, a long time Coalgate resident was born on October 20, 1933, to Clarence and Dovie Stella (Rainey) Batchelor at Parker, Coal County, OK. Edna passed away on March 05, 2019 at Coalgate, OK. at the age of 85 years, 4 months and 13 days.

She attended Coalgate Schools

Edna was a Homemaker and a clerk at Price's Boot Shop for 17 years before retiring in 2011

Edna married Leon Arvard McCollum on Nov. 12, 1947 in Atoka, OK, he preceded her in death on July 17, 1994 in McAlester, OK

Edna enjoyed crocheting, sewing and crossword puzzles

Edna is survived by her son Randy McCollum of Coalgate, OK, Son-in-law: Roger Barnes & partner Mary Jo Massie of Coalgate, OK, Daughter-in-law: Naomi "Tootie" McCollum of Coalgate, OK. Grandchildren Shazette Priest of Newalla, OK, J.W. Barnes & wife Amanda of Salt Prairie, OK, Carminia Magby & husband Philip of Coalgate, OK., Miranda Elkins & husband Randy of Coalgate, OK., Amanda Freas & husband Bryan of Paradise, TX., John McCollum & wife Rachael of Coalgate, OK., Sarah Stevenson & Ray Farmer of Coalgate, OK. Her Great Grandchildren Crey Maxey & wife Morgan, Justin Maxey & wife Reegan, Jayce Barnes, Brayden Barnes, Ethan Magby, Kaden Magby, Kylie Magby, Kolten Magby, Chelsey Brooks, Chareth Brooks, Nicholas Freas & Rachel Hightower, Amara McCollum, Shalyn McCollum, Brody McCollum, Abigail Stevenson, Adyson Stevenson, 7- Great Great Grandchildren: Sydney Freas, Abel Freas, Hadley Freas, Amirah Maxey, Issac Maxey, Zahra Maxey & Preston Maxey.
