Services for Mildred Joyce Rogers,66, Coalgate, are 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church in Coalgate, the Rev. Jim Smith and Dr. James Evans officiating. Burial follows in Pine Cemetery

Mrs. Rogers died June 8, 1996, at her home. She was born July 2, 1929 at Tennaha, Texas, to Van Henry and Jeannie Eva Pitts. She worked as a sewing machine operator.

On Oct. 16, 1946 she and Herman Eugene Roges were married at Houston, Texas. He died Nov. 11, 1980

Sruvivors include four daughters, Elsie Horton, Pati Holder, Jo Eva Pebworth and Vanessa Madden, all of Coalgate; a son, Herman Eugene Rogers, Jr. Seminole; a sister, Helen Feemster, Sulphur, LA.; a brother, Luther Pitts, Dallas, Texas; 15 grandchldren, nine great-grandchildren; three step grandchildren; and five step great-grandchildren.

Bearers are Bob Trail, Randy Ward, H. D. Cagle, Vendell Laster, John D. Ward and Bailey Ryan.

Epperson Funeral Services, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.

Note: Herman Eugene Rogers, Sr. died November 26, 1980.
