Funeral services for Homer James Guinn of Coalgate will be held (Wednesday) today, January 17 at 2:00 p.m.at the Church of Christ with Troy Yandell officiating. Burial will be in Pine Cemetery under the direction of Epperson Funeral Service of Coalgate.

Mr. Guinn was born March 25, 1930 in Parker, OK to Homer W. and Myrtle Eddings Guinn and passed away January 14, 2001 in Coalgate at the age of 70. He was a Survey Engineer, a veteran of the Korean Confllict, a memer of the VFW, American Legion and Church of Christ. He married Mary Guinn on June 4, 1954 in Ada.

Survivors include his spouse, Mary, of the home; daughter Rolanda Ladner of Coalgate, sons, Rick Guinn and Gary Guinn, both of Coalgate; sisters, Lucille Lindly of Yerden, OK, Tommie Rogers of Coalgate, Addie Pollock of Oktaha, OK; brothers, Elmer Guinn of Wichita Falls, TX, Thurman Guinn of Coalgate, Wayne Guinn of Ada, Jerry Guinn of Tulsa; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Terry Guinn

Pallbearers will be nephews; Jimmy Guinn, Donald Guinn, Phillip Guinn, Timmy Guinn, Donny Guinn, Ricky Rogers, Tony Mooney, and Kevin Guinn.
