Beryl Irene Stutte

Funeral services for Beryl Irene (Spaulding) Stutte, a former Olney resident, were held Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Olney Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Sweetman officiating. Burial was in Moore Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service of Coalgate.

Mrs. Stutte was born January 14, 1921 at Okmulgee to Samuel P. Spalding and Grace (Horn) Spaulding and passed away July 22, 2011 at Ponca City at the age of 90. She married Ary W. Murphy on June 26, 1943 and he preceded her in death in November 1960. She then married Winford "Pete" Stutte on October 18, 1964 and he preceded her in death on August 2, 2000. Mrs. Stutte attended and graduated from Okmulgee High School and attended Draughn's Business College in Tulsa where she graduated with an Associate Degree. She was a housewife and homemaker and was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include a son, David S. Murphy of Schuyler VA; daughter, Marian Sue Lippard of Ponca City; granddaughter, Jessica Lippard of Radcliff, KY; grandson, Cameron Lippard of Ponca City; along with numerous other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, and sister Virginia Daniel.

Casketbearers were Cameron Lippard, Patrick Murphy, Wade Stutte and Faron Bryant. Honorary bearers were Jessica Lippard and Sonny Fite.
