Funeral services for Robert Burns Ware, a former Coalgate resident, will be held Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Coalgate with Father Higgins officiating. Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening February 12 at Brown's Funeral Chapel in Coalgate. Burial will be in Coalgate Cemetery under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service of Coalgate.

Mr. Ware was born Januay 18, 1919 in Cordell, OK to Roy Martin and Lottie Burns Ward and passed away February 7, 2010 in Sulphur, OK at the age of 91. He attended Cordell Schools and married Sarah Zuech in 1952 at Ft. Smith, AR. Mr. Ware worked in the oil fields until his retirement in 1975. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps in World War II. He was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Coalgate. Bob's special love was his Catholic faith. Blessed Sacrament Church, praying Rosary and all his dear friends in Coalgate.

He is survived by one brother, Raymond Ware; sisters-in-law, Wilda Chancey and husband Jim, Doris Ward and Katy Ware; brothers-in-law, Jesse Zuech and wife Catherine and Jack Ruffini; special cousin, Gloria Kemp along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers, Richard, Roy, Bill and Jack; and sisters, Marie and Lou.

Casketbearers will be James Ennis, Greg Chancey, Tim Chancey, Paul Rogers, Tony Ruffini, and Jack Ruffini. Honorary bearers will be Larry Bart Pope, Nick Lolli, Bill Avanzini, Gene Ferroro and Jim Chancey.
