Funeral services for Anna Edith "Cox" Stark, a longtime Coalgate resident, were held Monday, December 7, 2009 at Brown's Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Rev. John Kinsey officiating, assisted by Rev. Bill Weathers. Burial was in Coalgate Cemetery with Brown's Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Stark was born May 16, 1919 at Bartlesville, OK to Arthur and Dorothy Ila Marie "Sturm" Cox and passed away December 4, 2009 in Coalgate at the age of 90. She attended Bartlesville schools, was a homemaker and a member of the Cottonwood Baptist Church. She also loved music and to dance.

Surivivors include one daughter, Penny Powell and husband, Kenneth of Ashland, OK; one son, Eddie Stark and wife Vicki of Coalgate, OK; sister, Hazel Wojpuck of Kingfisher, OK, grandchildren, Debbie Kinsey and husband John of Durant, OK and Tammy Powell of Coalgate; special friend, Edgar Allen of Coalgate; along with numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great grandchidren adn numerous other relatives and dear friends.

Her parents; two brothers, Lawrence Cox and Everett Cox; her children's father, Otta Stark; and two sons, Donald Stark and Pat Stark, preceded her in death.

Casketbearers were Johnny D.Ward, Gary Dority, Marion Floyd, Jerry Nanney and Floyd Campbell. Honorary bearers were Walter Lee Hogue.
