Services for Bertha Christine Linker, 82, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Majors Carlyle & Charlotte Gargis will officiate. Burial will follow at Centrahoma Cemetery. Ms. Linker passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 at a local hospital. She was born October 29, 1933 at Centrahoma to Simon Ishmael and Mary Abbie Savage Linker. She graduated from Byng High School in 1952. She played on the Byng Basketball Team which won the state championship in 1951 and 1952.

Ms. Linker was the Pontotoc County Tag Agent for 17 years and later she was a bookkeeper.

She was a Faithful Soldier/Member of The Ada Salvation Army Church.

Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Louise Hammock, Naomi Bosworth, Lillie Mae Crabb and Nora Linker; and five brothers, Bobby Ray Linker, Clyde Linker, Fred Linker, James Andrew Linker and Raymond Linker; infant twin siblings and an infant sibling.
