Opal Evelyn Morrison Weller

Opal Evelyn (Morrison) Weller, age 101, a Tupelo resident, passed away on November 7, 2019 at Coalgate, OK. She was born on January 6, 1918, to Jessie Edgar and Julia Texas (Jackson) Morrison, at Jackson, OK. She attended school at Burrow Valley & Stonewall High School. Opal owned Grocery Stores in East Jesse & Tupelo. Opal married Deborn Ervin Weller on January 23, 1934 at Clarita, OK., he preceded her in death. Opal was a Pentecostal Holiness. Opal enjoyed sewing, quilting, going to ball games and cooking for family. Opal's greatest joy in life was spending time with her loved ones at family gatherings.

Opal is SURVIVED BY: DAUGHTERS: Jerl Dean (Jerri) Romines & husband D.E. of Tupelo, OK., Dessa Fortner & husband Paul of Tupelo, OK., Nell Tomlinson & husband Don of Claremore, OK., Regina Flowers & husband Johnny of Tupelo, OK., SONS: Don Weller & wife Joy Nell of Tupelo, OK., Wendell Weller of Cleveland, OK., DAUGHTER-IN-LAW: Jan Weller of Grand Prairie, TX., GRANDDAUGHTERS: Sherry Haynes, Darla Pearce, Donna McCollum, Christy Bills, Tammi Stephens, Michelle Parsons, Shelly Pickle, Ginger Cornell, Elizabeth Weller, Becky Beach, Sheila Fennell, Cindy Sanders, GRANDSONS: David Romines, Jerry Lynn Romines, Roger Romines, Ricky Romines, Billy Stephens, Darryl Weller, Clay Weller, Scott Weller, Jeff Weller, Michael Tomlinson, Steven Flowers, Kenny Fortner, Alan Fortner. Along with numerous great & great grandkids, nieces, nephews, & dearly loved family & friends.
