Oletha (Johnson) Perry Palmer, age 79, a longtime Coal County resident.

BORN:      May 2, 1926 at Roff, Ok To Loransy Dowell and Minnie Lee (Robins) Johnson.

Passed Away:     November 6, 2005 at Tupelo, Ok.

Age:   79 years  6 months   4 days

Education:       Attended Center and Tupelo Schools and later obtained her G.E.D. at Coalgate in 1971.

Married:     Willie Thompson Perry on January 19, 1944 at Coalgate, Ok.

                   L.C. "Boog" Palmer on May 20, 1977 in Atoka, Ok.

Occupation:    school cook at Tupelo and Kingston schools as well as cook at the Allen nursing home, retiring in 1988.

Church Affiliation:    affiliated with Pentecostal Holiness and Baptist church.

       Survived by

Daughters:     Jacquita Ellis and husband Roger of Garland, Tx.

                         Fern Watson and husband Wayne of Whitesboro, TX.

                         Bonnie Hedgecock and husband Larry of Rock Springs, WY.

                         Becky Bell and husband Bruce of Stonewall, OK.

StepSons:    Tammy Palmer and wife Ann of Coalgate, OK.

                       Mickey Palmer and wife Terri of Coalgate, OK.

9 Grandchildren.

4 Great Grandchildren.

A number of Step Grandchildren and Step Great Grandchilren.

Sisters:     Wendell Uhlich of Ada, Ok.

                   Naomi Stephens and husband Milton of Ft. Worth, TX.

                   Sherlene Elliott and husband Bill of Tupelo, OK.

       Preceded in Death By

Parents:     Loransy Dowell and Minnie Lee Johnson.

Husbands:      Willie Perry on April 20, 1968.

                         L. C. "Boog" Palmer on April 21, 2004.

Brother:     Delbert Johnson.

Date of Service:     Thursday, November 10, 2005 at 2:00 P.M.

Place of Service:      Tupelo Baptist Church.

Interment:     Byrd's Prairie Cemetery ~ Tupelo, ok.

Officiating:     Pastor Charles Loyd.
