Betty Jean Cross Massey

Betty Jean (Cross) Massey, age 88, a Centrahoma resident was born on March 26, 1930, to Edgar and Stella (Sweat) Cross, at Tupelo, OK, Betty passed away on February 17, 2019 at Tulsa, OK. at the age 88 years, 10 months and 22 days.

She attended Lone Oak School & graduated in 1947 from Tupelo High School, she later attended ECU.

Betty worked at the Army Ammunition Plant in Savanna, OK, & many years at the sewing plant Elsings Industries in Eufaula. She retired in 1988, but continued working the family farm.

Betty married Roy Leon Massey on June 2, 1949 at Ada, Ok., he preceded her in death on June 9, 1984.

Betty was affiliated with Lighthouse Christian Church of Eufaula, OK & Gospel Lighthouse Pentecostal, Centrahoma, OK. She enjoyed Church, sewing & gardening.

Betty is survived by her daughters Marsha Gibbany of Tulsa, OK, Patti Massey of Tulsa, OK and Rhonda Smith & Ronald Chisholm of Centrahoma, OK, a sister Bobby Norfleet of Centrahoma, OK, 12-GRANDCHILDREN, 22-GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, NEPHEW: Raylon Norfleet wife Cathy of Centrahoma, OK, Along with numerous other relatives & friends

Betty was preceded in death by her parents Edgar and Stella (Sweat) Cross, her husband Roy Leon Massey, Sons Roger Massey, Larry Massey, grandson Billy Massey, brother JR. Cross, nephew David Norfleet and brother-in-law Leon Norfleet

PLACE OF SERVICES: Brown's Funeral Chapel, Coalgate, Oklahoma

INTERMENT: Byrd's Prairie
