LAWANNA BATCHELOR

Funeral services for Lawanna Marie Batchelor, 47, Duncan, were held at  2 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Tupelo with the Rev. David Boggs officiating . Burial followed at Byrd's Prairie Cemetery in Tupelo under the direction of Smith Phillips Funeral Home.     

Lawanna was born April 6, 1963 in Wichita, Kan., to Lloyd Wolfe and Wanna Short Wolfe and died Tuesday, June 15, 2010 in Duncan. She and Danny Batchelor were married Aug. 22, 1980 in Andrews, Texas.

She attended Moore High School in Moore.

 Survivors include her husband, Danny Batchelor of the home in Duncan; two sons, Danny Ray and Jessy James Batchelor both of Moore; two daughters, Tiffany Fincher and her husband Justin of Duncan and Samantha Edmondson of Moore; her parents, Lloyd and Wanna Wolfe Moore; four sisters, Karla Dodge and Toni Short both of Moore, Theresa Young and her husband Rex, Moore, and Belinda Webb and husband Bill, Choctaw; three grandchildren, Izaac and Izabella Batchelor both of Moore; Nathanael Fincher, Duncan; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death was an uncle, Vale Short.        

Bearers were Justin Fincher, Jessy Batchelor, Danny Batchelor, Jesse Mills, Jonathan Mills, and Matt Winders.

Honoray bearers were Lenus Batchelor, Darrill Morgan, Joe Gray, Timothy Beck, Buddy Lee Barnes, Terry Johnson, Don Bray, John Schutte, and Paul Goodman.
