Born on April 20, 1918, U.S. Marine Corps V.F.M. 2II, Lost his life defending his county on Wake Island, December 8, 1941. Awarded the
Purple Heart, Presidential Unit Citation with star, Asiatic Pacific Campaign expeditionary with Wake Island-Silver W.
We must dedicate ourselves to that great principle that they shall not have paid this price in vain.
