Leffler, William Joseph “Bill”, 87, passed away Monday, April 25, 2011 in Norman, Oklahoma.  He was born April 16, 1924 in Norman, Oklahoma. 

Bill served his country in the United States Army during WWII and was an engineer for City Service Oil & Natural Gas Co. in Oklahoma City retiring in 1982 after 25 years of service.  He enjoyed playing Chicken Foot, attending the Senior Club, watching OU football and basketball.  Bill was a sweet and compassionate man who had a great laugh and love for life.  He was his grandchildren's number one fan and attended every sporting event that they were involved in.

Bill is survived by his son, Greg Leffler of Norman; Scott Setzer; sister, Margarite Holloway; grandchildren, Kyle and Jacob Leffler; cousin, Helen Genieve Driscol; and many nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Billie Jean Leffler.

Memorials may be made to the St. Joseph Catholic Charities, 211 N. Porter, Norman, OK 73071.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 A.M., Thursday, April 28, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 211 N. Porter, Norman with interment following in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home.
