William L. "Bill" Max
William L. "Bill" Max was born Jan. 21, 1924, in Oklahoma City to Edd and Eula (Blair) Max. He passed away May 28, 2002, in Oklahoma City at the age of 78 years.He served 21 years in the Navy before retiring in 1963 as Chief Petty Officer. He was married to Mary Rogers on Jan. 27, 1941 in Santa Monica, Calif.Surviving relatives include his wife, Mary K.; one son, Kenneth Max and wife Marsha; one daughter, Patricia Anne Correll and husband Allen; one brother, Gene Max; two grandchildren, Amanda and David Correll; and several nieces and nephews.Graveside services were held with full Military Honors at 11 a.m. Friday, May 31, at Resthaven Memory Gardens. Interment followed under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
