After 77 years of a life well lived Jerrie Ann Owens passed peacefully at her home in Oklahoma City. She was born on July 25, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois.

Jerrie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, going to garage sales, bowling, picking up stray dogs, the Oklahoma Sooners, and Thunder Basketball.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jay Steven Owens; father John Schaeffer and wife Skipper.

Jerrie is survived by her husband Jimmy W. Owens; sons, Michael Owens and wife Becky, and Bryan Owens and wife Tolly; grandsons, Dylan Owens, and Judah Owens; sister, Barbara Lightcap; and brother in law Earl Owens.

Services to celebrate her life will be 2:00 pm Thursday, February 23, 2017 at The Chapel at Resthaven with interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
