Dorothy Faye Markham, 89, formerly of OKC, died Dec. 22, 2000 in Eldorado Springs, MO. Dorothy was born June 20, 1911 in Bristow, OK to Henry and Mae Teel Boyd. She worked for many years as a public school teacher, and was active in numerous teacher organizations and the Zonta Club. Dorothy was a former member of the Capitol Hill United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John, two sisters Velma Wilson and Marie Boyd and one brother Frank Boyd.

Survivors include her son James Hefner of Springdale, AR, daughter Anna Roberts of Springfield, MO, brother Herbert L. Boyd of Norman, OK, one sister Lola Siler of OKC, grandchild John Roberts of Searcy, AR, brother-in-law Jack Wilson of OKC, sister-in-law Pat Boyd of Dallas, TX.

Services will he held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday in the South Colonial Chapel of Vondel Smith & Son Mortuary
