Nellie “Nell” Faye Kuchera, 82 of Yukon, Oklahoma passed away with family by her side on January 21, 2019.

She was born on Tuesday, January 19, 1937 in Fox, Oklahoma to the late J.D and Susie Elmore. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jim Kuchera. Nell was a high school graduate of Healdton Schools and worked for the State of Oklahoma in the welfare department for several years. Nell was quite the sales person through the years by selling Avon, air purifiers, and jewelry. Nell loved to garden, travel with Jim in the RV, and collect beanie babies.  Nell was a faithful member of West View Church of Christ in Piedmont, Oklahoma. Nell loved to sing and one would find her sitting on the front pew, singing to the Lord up until the last day she was able to attend church service. Her love for music was passed along to her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children; Deanna McBride and husband Gary, James Kuchera and wife Anita, Patti Bundrum and husband Bobby, and Andy Kuchera and wife Tammy, along with 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, loving siblings, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

One of Nell’s most cherished memories was singing with her sisters in the Harmonies of Home quartet and singing with the OKC Chapter of Sweet Adelines. Nell loved surrounding herself with family and spending time with them. Plus if you stopped by the lake to visit her pet rooster Hollister, she loved that too.  The family would like to thank the Tender Care Hospice organization. We are humbled by the care and compassion shown by all.
