Raymond James Harden, 70, of Moore, Oklahoma passed away on November 11, 2017.

He was born November 24, 1946 in Astoria Queens, New York to Stanley Silverstein and Naomi Silverstein. He grew up in New York and graduated from Franklin K. Lane High School. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1965 and served his country during the Vietnam War. He moved to Oklahoma and married Nancy Dudgeon in 1968. He graduated with a bachelor degree from Central State University and worked at Tinker Air Force base until he retired.

He is preceded in death by his parents and step father John Harden.

Ray is survived by his wife Peggy Harden, three children, Hallie Wright, Jonathan Harden (April), and Justin Harden (Melissa); step-daughter Loni Jones (Mike), four grandchildren, Carlee Wright, Addison Harden, Connley Harden, and Luke Harden and three step grandchildren, Easton Jones, Ellison Jones, and Emory Jones. He is also survived by a brother Ralph Harden, one sister Lisa Munzer, three half-brothers, Stanley Silverstein Jr., Tommy Silverstein, and John Silverstein, and two half-sisters, Jane Sioshansi and Lisa Apple.

Ray was a constant advocate for Veterans. He took great pride in his country and wanted all Veterans to be honored for their service, sacrifice and patriotism. Ray’s generous spirit and fun-loving nature will be missed by his friends and family.
