January 16, 2019 brought to a close the life of Dorothy D. Hague, as she was so ready to leave this earth. Dorothy lived to be 94 years young.

She was born in Roosevelt, OK August 22, 1924. Upon graduation from Roosevelt, she moved to Oklahoma City and attended business school. Dorothy met Walter Hague and they began their long life together on November 4, 1945. Walter and Dorothy adopted their sweet baby boy Alan. A little later in life Dorothy went to work for the Oklahoma City Fire Department as their secretary for 17 years. Dorothy was an avid reader and she loved to travel. She made several trips to Australia to see her son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. Dorothy was a longtime member of Shields Boulevard Baptist Church and was the church clerk for many years. She taught a class for the little ones which she loved dearly. Dorothy also enjoyed the 20 years she spent volunteering for Integris Hospice.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law Karen Hague; grandchildren, Myles A. Hague and Alysha Hague DeGraaf; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
