Carol Jeanne (Pease) Copeland

Carol Jeanne Copeland, age 82, was called home by her Lord and Savior on July 1, 2017.  Carol was born January 9, 1935.  

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Eunice Pease, her oldest son Michael Lee Senn and her husband William “Oliver” Copeland.

Carol was advertising director for Carpet World for 22 years.  She retired to care for her husband Oliver who had dementia.  After the death of Oliver, her parents, and her son, Carol went back to work and was Administrative Secretary at Emanuel Synagogue and was there for 12 years.

She was a member of Delta Theta Chi Sorority. She had also received awards from Printing Industries of America in Design and Graphics.

Carol and Oliver spent many years active in square dancing as Oliver was a square dance caller.

Carol was also an active member of Council Road Baptist Church, helping with entering data into their computer system for the children’s department and teaching 4 year old children crafts. She was a director in her Senior Adult Six Sunday school class, and many other activities. 

Carol is survived by her son, Paul Reynolds Senn and wife Pamela; sister Linda Senn; brother Robert Pease and wife Sharon; 4 grandchildren; Richard Senn and wife Rebecca of Jenks; Yvonne Collett and husband Jared of Jenks; Michael Justin Senn and wife Natalie of Norman; Ashley Alexander and husband Casey of Norman; stepson Monty Copeland of Dallas, niece Alyssa Senn-Seward; grandson Collin Senn; great granddaughters Harper Ann Senn and Hadley Jane Senn; great grandsons Edmond Paul Isaiah Collet and Alexander Robert Collett; great niece Anastasia Marie Seward; great nephew Michael Colton Seward; and step grandson Brandon Copeland.

Under the direction of Mercer-Adams Funeral services will be at 10:00 am, July 3, 2017 at Mercer- Adams funeral home. 

Interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery at 104th and South Western.
