Hilda was born Feb. 15, 1923, in Wilson. She was born the daughter of
Marcus and Sarah (Walker) Breed. She passed away Monday, Dec. 26, in her
home.
Hilda was united in marriage to John Patrick Conners on April 16, 1956,
in Gainesville, Texas. She was a licensed beautician and operated her
own beauty shop until her retirement in 1961.
During retirement, Hilda was happiest when she was in the company of her
family and friends. She loved to fish, especially with her grandson,
Chris. Hilda was an avid bowler, holding two state titles, and was a
huge Sooner football fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents;
her husband, John Patrick; three brothers, Clarence Breed, Marcus Breed
and Edgar Breed; and three sisters, Sally Breed, Iva Hill and Lois
Mizera.
Surviving Hilda are three sons, John Michael Conners and wife Valorie,
of Oklahoma City, Mark Allan Conners of Oklahoma City, and Steven
Patrick Conners of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Teresa Poisson and
husband Michael, of Luther; one grandson, Christopher Smith, of Oklahoma
City; one brother, J.C. Breed, of Harrah; and one sister, Sue Allen, of
Prue.
