Lenora laid down to sleep last Saturday evening and woke up Sunday morning, December 18, 2016 in heaven.
Lenora was born in Lindsay, Oklahoma, and the fourth child to Daniel R. Street and Ina May (Currington) Street.  Lenora grew up in Lindsay, and then attended Oklahoma Women’s College (now University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha).  She was a voice major and used that talent throughout her life to the joy of many.  Lenora studied in New Your City and sang on Broadway.  Lenora returned to Norman to receive her Master’s Degree.
She met a young Army Air Corps Lieutenant, A.K. (Kay) Wilson whom she married.  They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary before his death in 2013.
Lenora was involved in many clubs and originations. She was an elder for many years in her church.  She loved to play bridge and won many tournaments.  She and Kay were big supporters of Oklahoma Sooner athletics and loved to watch the OKC Thunder.
Lenora was Mrs. Oklahoma in 1960 and she enjoyed traveling the state and performing.  Most of all Lenora loved the Lord with all her heart, soul, and mind.  She loved her church and served it diligently.  She taught bible study for over 30 years.
She loved her family fiercely and was loved greatly in return and will be missed.  She was a homemaker, fabulous cook, and loved to entertain and fellowship.
Lenora was preceded in death by her parents Daniel R. Street and Ina Street, her brother, D.R. Street, sisters, Geneva Bradley and Eileen Shields, and her beloved daughter, Kaylen Melton.
