Roy D. Taylor
Roy D. Taylor, 62, Norman, died Monday Evening in the Veteran's Administration Hospital following an extended illness.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Mayes Chapel of Rmeemberance with the Rev. george Martin officiating. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery. Military rites will be rendered by personnel from Fort Sill.
Taylor, a norman resident for 28 years, was born February 22, 1921 in Wilburton. He was a graduate of Talihina High School and attended Oklahoma City University in business administration. He was retired from the Federal Aviation Administration in 1975 and was an Air Force veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a 32nd degree Mason.
Survivors include his wife, Juanitta of the home; a son, Gale of Mustang; a granddaughter; two step-granddaughters; three brothers, Harrison of Kansas City, MO, Arthur of Midwest City and Robert of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Flora Cox of Oklahoma City and Ruth Keagle of Oklahoma City.
