Virginia Nell “Janell” Ditzler, of Norman, Oklahoma, joined her Heavenly Father on February 22, 2016 at the age of 92. Janell was born November 18, 1923 in Comanche, Oklahoma to Carl Franklin and Dennie Mae (Cooper) New.

Janell was a dedicated homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family and providing them with a warm and loving home.

She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be greatly missed by many loved ones and countless friends.

Janell was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Dennie Mae New, her sister Mayona Clayton, husband Harvey Summers, and husband Raymond Ditzler.

Survivors include her sons Harvey Don Summers of Norman, and Eddy Summers of Claremore; grandchildren Sarah Summers (great grandchildren Bailey, Emily, and Jamie), Kasey Summers (great grandchild Elijah), and Kevin Summers and wife Donnie (great grandchildren Harvey and Sawyer).

Private Family Services will be held.
