Robert C. “Bob” Starzer was born July 20, 1929 in Norman, Oklahoma, the son of Carl L. Starzer and Georgetta (Larsh) Starzer.  He departed this life and went to be with our Heavenly Father on January 8, 2015. 

A lifelong resident of Norman, he was a graduate of Norman High School and attended the University of Oklahoma.  Bob retired from Tinker Air Force Base in 1985 as a scheduler in the Plant Management Division.

Bob was an avid gardener and enjoyed sharing his produce with family and neighbors.  He also loved traveling and visiting with others along the way.
Robert was married to Patricia D. Lester on June 1, 1951 in Norman. 

He is survived by Patricia and their two daughters, Linda Cornelison and her husband David, and Donna Todd and her husband Michael, all of Norman, as well as four grandchildren, Greg Butler, Brent Todd, Robert Todd and Sarah Butler; a brother, Bruce Starzer and several nieces, nephews and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Shirley Starzer and Katherine Imhoff.

Viewing will be from 12:00-8:00pm Monday, January 12, 2015 at Havenbrook Funeral Home. 

Graveside services are 1:00 pm Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
