William “Bill” C. Plumb was born October 12, 1942 to William N. Plumb and Vergie Farris in Konowa, Oklahoma. Bill passed away on Friday, April 5, 2013 in Norman, Oklahoma.

Bill married JoAnn Reynolds on October 10, 1975 in Norman, Oklahoma  and they raised three sons and two daughters.

Bill was an Equipment Specialist at Tinker Air Force Base for over 30 years retiring in 1993.  He served in the U.S. Army receiving an honorable discharge in June 1967.  Bill loved taking trips to random places like the Royal Gorge and driving with the family to various towns to eat.  He enjoyed watching sports especially watching his children and grandchildren playing sports.  For many years he would take trips to Texas for the OU football game.  His grandchildren will remember his generosity as they always seemed to come home with some extra money in their pocket.  Bill’s children and grandchild always felt the love he had for them whether they were in his presence or away from him.

Bill is survived by his wife, Jo Ann; three sons, Jeff Plumb and  Kari of  Burleson, Texas, Joseph Plumb of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Terry Reynolds and wife Carol of Washington, Oklahoma; two daughters, Angela Shawnee of Wichita, Kansas, Misty Burnett and husband Rhett of Norman, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Savannah  Shawnee, Gabrielle Shawnee, Lindsay Harper, Tara Reynolds, Jeffrey Plumb, Morgan Plumb, Calysta Burnett and, Rylan Burnett.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Kraleigh Burnett.
