Marjorie Ann Fowler Meacham
1933 - 2008
Marjorie Ann Fowler Meacham, Norman, Oklahoma, died November 5, 2008, surrounded by her loving family.
Margie was born March 2, 1933, in Cheyenne, Oklahoma, and spent the last few years of her life in Norman.
She graduated from Clinton High School in 1950 and moved to Oklahoma City in 1956.
She enjoyed thirty years of work in the real estate and restaurant industries, where she served as the Vice President for Sirloin Stockade.
Margie always recognized her greatest accomplishment to be her family with the best times of her life being spent with her granddaughter.
Mimi will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Daisy Fowler.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie and son-in-law, Pete Doughty; and son, Michael Meacham of Norman; granddaughter, Lacy and her husband, Steve of Jenks, Oklahoma; her brothers, Bud Fowler and his wife, Marion Fowler of Round Rock, Texas; nephews, Elton Fowler and Matthew Fowler and their families; and her best friends, Ed and Alice Geene Meacham of Kansas City.
Services to celebrate her life will be on Saturday, at 10:00 a.m., at Havenbrook Funeral Home, 34011 Havenbrook Street, Norman, Oklahoma 73072, with a viewing on Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Interment will follow at the Norman IOOF Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Dale Rogers Training Center, 2501 N Utah, Oklahoma City, OK 73107 or Special Olympics.
