Tim Kuhlo of Norman
passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the age of 68. He was born August 26,
1943 in Aurora, Illinois to George Shepherd Kuhlo and Sylvia Juanita Corley.
On March 6, 1971 he married Loretta Dennis. Tim will be laid to rest on their
41st wedding anniversary.
Tim and Loretta spent a lot of time at home together working in the yard and
flower beds until Tim thought they were perfect. He was a quiet, selfless,
gentle person who would help many and did not need the glory. When Brandi was a
little girl she said her dad was a genius and could fix anything. He was a
perfectionist in that he believed you should do the job right the first time.
He refinished furniture with his daughter Brandi. He enjoyed taking his
grandchildren to the park to play. He was known as “Opa” to his grandchildren
and was considered the greatest in the world.
Tim is survived by his wife, Loretta of the home; daughter, Brandi McAlister and
her husband Jason of Noble; sister, Sylvia Thorpe and her husband Steve of
Tulsa, Ok.; grandson, Grant McAlister; granddaughter, Olivia McAlister; many
nephew and nieces and a host of family and friends.
Tim is preceded in death by his parents.
Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 22718, Oklahoma
