Joan Mae (Bullard) Harper passed away peacefully on October 19, 2017, at the age of 87, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

She is survived by her husband Leonard Harper; daughters Terese Hall and Karen Reynolds; grandchildren Amanda Huggins, Brian Clinton, Sarah Johnson, and David Hall; and great-grandchildren Kyle, Aaron, Elyse, Ezra, and Cadence.

Joan graduated from Central Michigan University, where she met and married the love of her life, Leonard. Home-making was her vocation, and she devoted herself to her family. She was an accomplished cook, seamstress, and gardener. She had endless patience, evident in her massive jigsaw puzzles and many hours spent fishing, a favorite pastime all of her life. She was active in the Girl Scouts of America, serving as the Norman Neighborhood Chair, and she was a lifelong active member of the Episcopal Church. Joan and Leonard loved traveling and journeyed all over the country in their years together.

Private Services were held and under the care of Havenbrook Funeral Home.
