Furry, Barbara Lenora “Bobbie”, 82, passed away Friday, March 9, 2012 in Norman, Oklahoma.

She was born November 24, 1929 in Lexington, OK to Lewis and Ludie (Skacel) Bryant. Barbara was united in marriage on June 5, 1954 in Norman, OK to Loyal Furry.

Bobbie was a cheerleader at Norman High School and was active in the BSU Student Union during her college days.  Bobbie received her bachelor's degree in BusEd, teaching shorthand; she was the secretary to the superintendent of schools in Harrah, OK. In 1953, she received her master's degree in elementary education from the University of Oklahoma and taught for 17 years. Loyal is an architect and together they built houses, apartments and remodeled existing units turning them into condominiums. She obtained her real estate license - bought, sold and managed properties for many years in Norman, OK.  Bobbie has been actively involved with the Kenneth Hagin ministries and the Rhema Bible College in Tulsa, Oklahoma and the Kenneth Copeland ministries in Ft. Worth, TX for over 40 years.

Bobbie is survived by her husband, Loyal of the home; brother, Gerald “Jerry” Bryant and wife Linda of Dallas, TX; two sisters, Betty Higgins and husband Arnold of Norman, OK and Billie Grizzle and husband Joe of Norman, OK; sister-in-law, Adaline Garlington and husband Ellis of Tulsa, OK; and 26 nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be made to Rhema Bible College Scholarship Fund, P O Box 50126, Tulsa, OK 74150-0126 or the City Rescue Mission, 800 W. California, OKC, OK 73106.

Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Havenbrook Funeral Home, 3401 Havenbrook St. of Norman. 

Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m., Monday, March 12, 2012 at the Harvest Church, 6450 36th Ave. NW, Norman with interment following in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery of Norman.
