Campbell, Boyce, 91, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2011 in Norman, Oklahoma.  He was born in Norman, OK on August 4, 1920 to Boyd and Mary (Pitt) Campbell and grew up in Pauls Valley, OK.  Boyce played basketball and graduated from Pauls Valley High School.  While working at Armour & Co., Boyce met and fell in love with Wanda Kathleen Hurley and the two  were united in marriage on June 14, 1947.

Boyce served his country in the United States Army during WWII driving a supply truck.  He returned to Norman after WWII and graduated from Hills Business College.  He retired from the Norman Post Office and was a self employed house painter.  He was a farmer for many years and loved cattle and gardening.  Boyce and Kathleen fostered children from the Tipton Children's Home.  He was a deacon at University Church of Christ, an Elder at Noble Church of Christ for many years and was currently a member of the Westside Church of Christ.  He enjoyed playing dominoes, fishing and watching sports, especially baseball, basketball and football.

Boyce is survived by his wife of 64 years, Kathleen Campbell of the home; his son, Larry Campbell and wife Nancy of Norman; brother, Melvin Campbell and wife Patsy of OKC; grandchildren, Angela Camp and husband Ray of Norman, Michelle DeVine of Norman, Shauna Gipe and husband Scott of Caledonia, MI, Buddy DeVine of OKC, Jayme Minson of Norman and Brian Minson of Norman; great grandchildren, Madison Camp, Dominic Camp, Robby Jones, Tanner Gipe, Trinity Gipe, Kyra McFarlin, and Adler Minson. 

Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 16, 2011 and 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 17, 2011 with the family greeting friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday at Havenbrook Funeral Home.

Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 18, 2011 at Westside Church of Christ, 726 McGee Dr., Norman with interment following in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery of Norman.
