WILSON-LITTLE FUNERAL HOME
PURCELL-NEWCASTLE, MCCLAIN CO, OK
(permission granted)

Lana Dollarhide, age 56 of Noble, passed away Friday, March 24, 2017, at the Norman Regional Hospital.

Lana Lee Jarman was born July 23, 1960 in Norman, OK, the oldest of 6 children born to Jack Laverne and Betty Ann (Gifford) Jarman. She was raised in Noble and attended Noble Schools, graduating in 1978. Lana married Rodney Dale Dollarhide on July 25, 1992 in Norman, and they made their home in Noble. Lana was gifted in many ways, and always eager to share her gifts. She played guitar and was a talented singer, and she looked forward to family get togethers where they all played. She was a Certified Minister and always ready to share as a spiritual counselor. Even in her last days, Lana worked relentlessly to share her faith with others. Lana’s greatest joy, and her greatest impact on this world, was her work with children. For more than 20 years, Lana touched and impacted children in the Noble community with her home day care, Lana’s Day Care. Her heart was with her “kiddos”, and the relationships made in that day care. She was a generous soul who always put the needs of others before her own. She will be dearly missed!

She was preceded in death by: Her husband, Rodney Dale Dollarhide; An infant son, Jody Adams, JR and Her parents, Jack and Betty Jarman.

Lana leaves behind: Kayla Jarman and Kodie Hicks, two very dear to her and very much like Her daughters; 2 sisters, Janet Jarman of Noble and Alisha Gifford of Norman; 3 brothers, Jeff Jarman, Ronnie Jarman and wife Diana, all of Noble and Phillip Gifford of Norman; Special Uncle, Virgil Gifford and wife Brenda of Norman; 7 nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

A Celebration of Lana’s Life is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 30, 2017, at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel.
