Kay Davidson age 75 of Lexington, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Friday, March 3, 2017.

She was born March 17, 1941 in Holdenville, OK. She was the middle child of three daughters born to Beatty Ray Bankston and Naomi Pauline (Horn) Bankston. Kay spent her younger years growing up in Holdenville. At the age of 12, her family moved to Okemah where she later graduated from high school with the class of 1958. At the age of 16, she married the love of her life, a young man by the name of David Davidson. They were married on November 27, 1957 in Pryor, OK. Together Kay and David raised three children, Darla, Ricky and Carrie. Kay and David lived in Muskogee for 8 ½ years, Norman for 40 years and in 2006 they moved north of Lexington. Kay worked for York International for 30 years before retiring in 2000. Throughout her life, she loved being outdoors and staying active. Some of her hobbies were, competing in women’s archery, where she won many State competitions. Fishing in Bass Tournaments with David and bowling. In her later years she became an avid golfer, playing most of her rounds in Purcell. She loved O.U. sports, especially O.U. Football and working in her vegetable garden. However her favorite thing to do was spending time with her grandchildren and family. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by: Father, Beatty Bankston; Mother, Naomi Davis;

She is survived by: Husband of 59 years, David Davidson of the home; Three children, Darla McCallister and husband Rory of OKC, Ricky Davidson and wife Melanie of Norman, Carrie Evans and husband Richard of OKC; Two sisters, Donna Keesee and husband Buddy of Moore, Vickey Brown of Prague; 14 grandchildren, Erin, Shain, Casey, Kalyn, Kyle, Jamie, Chad, Jordan, Katie, Ashlee, Jamie, Sarah, Austin, Duncan Four great grandchildren, Ellie, Ricki Lynn, Hazy, Berklie Several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell.

Interment will be at Noble I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
