Wadley's Funeral Service

Services for Mary Ellen Conner will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 25, 2007, at Wadley's Funeral Chapel in Purcell. Burial at Noble IOOF Cemetery in Noble under the direction of Wadley's Funeral Service .

Mary was born January 28, 1930 to James and Willie (Wilson) Goodman in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She died August 21, 2007 at the Norman Regional Hospital at the age of 77 years. Mary has lived in the Norman area since 1983. She was raised and attended school in Fort Smith, Arkansas. On July 20, 1960, Mary and Charles Conner were united in marriage in Stillwell, Oklahoma. Mary retired from the University of Oklahoma as a Telephone Receptionist. She was a member of the India Shrine Clowns in Oklahoma City. Mary was of the Protestant faith and a loving wife and a wonderful mother. She enjoyed camping, fishing, riding at the lake, and Second Chance Animal Shelter.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Conner of the home; sons, Roger Van Dalsem and Gayle of Tulsa, Bobby Van Dalsem and Chung of Seattle, Washington and William Van Dalsem of Tulsa; brother, Hansel Goodman of California; grandchildren, Chris Van Dalsem, William Van Dalsem, Robert Van Dalsem and Roger Van Dalsem; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her greatly.
