Katheryn Newberry left this life on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the age of 88. She was born Doris Katheryn Gray on June 7, 1925. She was the middle of 5 children born to her parents, Myrtle and Leon Gray in Hattieville, Arkansas. Katheryn led a full life, becoming a wife to her husband Homer Clinton Newberry in 1945 and mother to her only son, Clinton Newberry in 1950. Later this year, Katheryn and Homer would have celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary. She was a longtime member of Grand Blvd. Church of Christ, where she had many friends. She was a loving wife, devoted mother and loyal friend who will be deeply missed.

Katheryn was preceded in death by her:
Son, Clinton Newberry; Sisters: Lena Voss and Lela Gray; Brothers: J.M. and Bobby Dean Gray.

Katheryn is survived by her loving Husband, Homer Clinton Newberry;
Niece, Geneva Goad; Sister-in-laws, Edna Newberry and Louise Weatherly and her husband, Lester and their children; Niece, Patty Newberry; Great-Nephew, Terry Newman and his wife, Cheryl and their children, Darrel Newman and his wife, Charlotte and their children;
Many friends and other family members.
